We live in a big, dreamy villa in Tullinge, surrounded by nature and close to a lake, nature reserve, and one of Stockholm’s best outdoor climbing crags. We’re a group mostly in our late 20s and 30s who are interested in what collective living can actually offer: not just cheaper rent or people sharing a kitchen, but a way of making life richer, easier and more social by sharing responsibilities, resources, food, projects, and community. We’re creative, independent people who love making things happen. The house has a long history of hosting: unconferences, decompressions, house shows, dinner parties, mini-burns and plenty of more spontaneous gatherings. We love having friends over and want the house to remain a place where our wider community feels welcome. 🏡 THE HOUSE - TULLHUSET Downstairs: large living room, dining room, shared kitchen, laundry. Upstairs: another communal space that doubles as a coworking area + guest space — friends and visitors stay with us regularly. The interior is always changing according to the needs of members and events (as you can tell from the pictures.) Rooms get rearranged, projects appear, and the space flexes around who’s here and what’s happening. Outside: wrap-around porch, garden with raspberries and blueberries, fire pit, lots of nature on the doorstep. HOW WE LIVE TOGETHER We want the house to be clean and cared for, but we’re not neurotic about it. More important to us is initiative: noticing what needs doing, taking responsibility without always needing to be asked, and contributing to making the household work. At the same time, life happens. Jobs get intense, relationships change, people travel, people go through difficult periods. We try to communicate about that and support one another rather than expecting everyone to contribute identically at all times. Some of us work from home, others commute into Stockholm, and everyone has their own life. We’re not looking for a collective where everyone has to do everything together. We are looking for people who genuinely want to participate in the life of the house rather than simply renting a bedroom in it. We also have a shared food system, including an app built by one of our housemates to make collective groceries and meals actually work. We’d especially love to hear from people who are creative, curious, self-directed, communicative, enjoy hosting or building community, and are excited by the idea of helping shape the house rather than just moving into it. One important practical note: we can’t take any additional pets, as Wendy and Agni (cats) already fill those slots.
